But really, who puts Rodney Atkins and Raekwon the same list?
Wu Tang Clan ain’t nothing to fuck with.

Went to my classes, then headed over to Forever 21. I bought some new rings and necklaces, obviously.
Today was our work meeting for the Pier since we’ll be opening our venue over there soon for the summer. Seems like it’ll be a good time.
After the meeting, most of us headed over to Joe Squared and got a “greek pizza”, it was pretty good.
After working at Rams Head since August, I’ve noticed that Hammerjacks gets brought up basically daily. I really wish I could have least went to this venue once in my life!
Headed into work, exciting night - Dru Hill played that night.
Things I learned from their performance: It’s 2012 and they still have their great dance moves. I need to step it up, STAT.

It was an amazing show. You missed out if you didn’t go. Earlier in the day, I was singing to Dru Hill’s sound check “Never Make A Promise”, only to realize it was just Sisqo sound checking and Nokio was in somewhat of an earshot of my wonderful serenade. I don’t know if he knew it was me singing it, but I’m an embarrassment. At least he knows he still has fans!
I noticed a lot of my friends do not know who Dru Hill is, it’s a shame you are from Baltimore and don’t know! It’s Sisqo of “Thong Song” fame, original R&B group. For those of you who don’t know any of the jams, I made a beginner’s mix for all things Dru Hill and Sisqo. Maryland pride!

I consider myself lucky to have grown up listening to and being involved with hardcore music. Some of my best friends and memories come from it. I don’t know where or how I would be If I was never introduced to hardcore (shoutout Joe Huba). So this is my attempt at doing the same, and what better way than with a completely free show. This puts the power in everybody’s hand. I’m only one person, so do your part and tell people about this show. Share it online, tell your friends, your neighbors, your relatives or anybody that you think would be interested. E-mail me if you want some stickers to throw up around town, pass out at school, skate parks, record stores, whatever you want. Just make sure to come out and support these bands and see why there is nothing better than hardcore.
There will be a link up later today for a free RSVP through Sonar.

I wanna go here! I looked it up on Google Satellite Maps, it’s a sad site, but I’m all about it.
