I had a 22 hour day, I had to get up around 8:30am so I could find parking for my 11am class. Was in class from 11 to 5:30pm. I’m taking a Women and Gender in Film and Media class, so we watch movies every Thursday evening. We watched 1944’s Double Idemnity, pretty good! My professor said no one knows who these actors are, but I know who Fred MacMurray is! You can blame this on my undying love for Lucille Ball.
After class, I headed into work and switched with one of the girls to do merch for the evening. Had merch duties for Sebastian Bach. Now, I don’t listen to 80’s hair metal, mostly because I was born in 1985, so I really didn’t get into much music until the 90’s. However, I must say that Sebastian Bach’s show was pretty intense. I could understand why the crowd comes out to see him, he at least puts on a good show. He mentioned the first time he ever came to Baltimore it was in 1985 and he was 16 then if I counted correctly. I won’t lie to you, the entire time I was watching Sebastian, I felt like I should have been at Gas Works with Wayne and Garth.
At the end of the night, I helped with coatcheck and helped pack up the merch. Pretty good night. However, didn’t get out of there until about 2:30am. I don’t care though, I love my job.
